Title

Empathy and equality starts with you

Description

Many families in India still have the tradition of the would-be bride serving tea and snacks while the prospective groom and his family members quietly judge. While there is nothing outrightly wrong about this but it sets the tone of the relationship between the girl, the groom and his family. In the video, the groom stands up and takes the tray from the bride and asks her to sit down with them breaking this precedent. He empathizes with how uncomfortable and nervous the woman might be feeling at being judged like this and wants to set the tone right not only for the woman but also his family. By taking the first step, he wants her to know that this would be a relationship of equality and respect.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
